It has really been a long time since i blogged. Unlike my roommate who blog once a while when got special thing, I kinda lazy to update my blog. Reasons? because sometimes really kinda busy as need to do reports and homework. Not to mention, after daily working, already tired to blog. Also, one main reason is because my keyboard start to spoil d as some of the keys will start working after switching on the computer for some times. Really need to wait till I go back to Kuching to bring over my other keyboard over here to KK.

Anyway, I have been here in KK for 6 weeks d. Already done 1st ward rotation and done 1st OPD rotation. Next station will be at IPP for 2 weeks before going into clinical again. Bad news is that clinical rotation fall on CNY duration but good news is that i will be able to complete my clinical rotation fast, the first to complete it among the batch of PRP entering Queen at the same time.

When I arrived here in mid of Nov, KK is not a new place for me as I know some of the tourist area. Haha. Then now, slowly exploring eatery place coz got 1 friend who always bring us around to eat and play during weekend only if free. If only I have car, I can go where ever I wanted to, explore new place and seeing new thing.

Anyway, my 1 month at clinical has been tough for me because my 1st station already at clinical. usually clinical will not be the 1st station, but rather at the middle or end of the PRP year so that the PRP can be more familiarised with the stuffs in the hospital. So for me, I need to catch up fast loh. Not to mention, always need to OT and go back to hospital during weekend just to complete my logbook. Lucky for me, manage to complete my logbook and hand in my logbook 1 week after finish my rotation. I learned a lot during my 1 month here at clinical, familiarise with some of the counselling techniques and some of my clinical knowledge. All thanks to my preceptor who has been patiently teaching me and din lose his temper when i do not know anything. But I still got more to learn since clinical stuffs are not fixed.

Now, I just finish my 2 weeks OPD (outpatient department) rotation. Learn some new things here, learn which drugs are SRQ (special request item) and normal item. Luckily my time at clinical help me a lot in doing counselling. My experience at OPD really fun. 2 weeks at OPD, previous week got gift exchange for christmas while today, got steamboat party for christmas also. People wise, they are friendly and willing to help you when you do not know how to do it.

I, for one, like it here. I do not experience any culture shock at all. haha. Seem like fit right in here. Just need to familiarize with the way of living here, the slang as well. Overall, I do welcome all of you out there to come work here in Sabah if you have the chance. I myself not sure how long will i be here nor not sure of my future plan. Just walk one step and then look ahead one step （走一步，看一步）. I cant really see myself where will i be in the future.

1 more day before the end of 2011. Hope that next year will be a better year for me, in my career, finance, health as well as some luck in relationship. Hehe. My CNY holiday wont be long because I will be at clinical that time and need to do case presentation few days right after the CNY public holiday. Hopefully I will be able to handle the presentation and do my presentation properly and not last minute as compare to last time. Really need to improve myself d. Cant always remain as the same one. Need to improve day by day one. If not, whats the point of living if din learn something new everyday.

Working Life

In 1 week time, I going to enter a new phase of life by entering the working life, as a working adult, contributing to the community.

A lot of my friends ask me where am I posted to. Well, the answer is Sabah but I do not know which hospital I being placed at as I will only know when I go report for duty at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

It has been a really long endless holiday, half a year to be exact, from 13rd of May which is the end of my final exam up till 18th Nov where I will report for duty. All thanks to the government speed in processing the document and our posting. The reasons? Freezing period by the JPA as wells as reasons that are hard to explain to us by the department in charged.

Anyway, since it has been a very very long holiday, I wonder how long will it take for me to get into my working mood, shifting my gear to full throttle. Definitely wont be 1 day. I guess maybe few days to weeks. Not to mention, need to adapt to the new environment over at sabah, the culture, the society, the people as well as the food. Hopefully when I receive my monthly salary, I will be able to save some for my future use.

I will be leaving Kuching on the 17th of Nov and I have yet to pack my stuffs. Not really sure what to bring and how much stuffs to bring. Not to mention, need to meet a few people before leaving Kuching. Sadly, I wont be able to meet few friends of mine who are coming back to Kuching for their term break as well as those who are coming to Kuching for the first time for holiday.

Most of my coursemates have already reported for duty on the 10th of Nov which is the 1st day of the reporting period. All the best to all my coursemates in their new hospital, doing there jobs and adapting to the new environment. I for one, do not know when will I have the chance to see each others again. Not to mention, my batchmates who are already serving the government which I also not sure when will we meet again.

Few more days left in Kuching and I do not know what to do with it. hehe.

Post-graduation

What have I done for the past 1 month after my final exam? Sorry if I did not update my blog often due to my laziness. Haha. Anyway, I will give a brief stories on what I have been doing after my final exam. My final exam finish on the 13th of May.

On the next day, 14th of May, after the last day of final exam, my uni pharmacy association organized a Gala Night cum Oath Taking Ceremony. Gala Night is for farewell for all the final year pharmacy students as well as gathering with all other year pharmacy students whereby everyone dress up nicely and fancily. While for oath taking ceremony, all the pharmacy students are required to take their pharmacist's oath before they enter into the working world, some do it in 1st year while some do it at the 4th year. The event was great, being a participant myself compare with last time whereby I were one of committee for Pharmacy Night. A lot of pictures were taken on that night, and I even took some pictures with some of the pretty girls in pharmacy. Hehe.

Then on next day (15th May), a group of my friends went to A Famosa to overnight. Travel there was ok, having steamboat as dinner, crazy surprise birthday celebration by the pool and crazy ppl at the pool. haha.

On the next day (16th May), after packing, we all drop by at Malacca for a short trip before going back to KL. I even got the chance to try out the famous crepe cake or layer cake.

On that night itself, I was a bit rushing to watch Pirates of Caribbean 4 at Mid Valley. When I reach MV, it was already 7plus, and decided to go to Kim Gary for dinner while waiting for the movie screening.

The movie screening was in 3D and the security was strict, not allowing anybody to bring any electronic devices into the hall, including handphone. When I was collecting my movie ticket, I was presented with an envelope and the lady was congratulating me for winning the contest. I myself was quite shock to find out that I were among the 5 who won 3 nail polishers from OPI. After receiving the present, I was quite happy myself. However, since I not using them, I gave them to the 2 pretty ladies. Hope they will like them as it was not cheap. RM 59 each.

On 18th of May, it was my time to pack all my stuffs and leave KL. Packing was not easy as need to send all the stuffs back to Kuching. Luckily my luggage was not overweight, if not, I need to pay RM 30 per KG.

On 20th of May, I traveled to Kota Kinabalu for sight seeing. I have uploaded my KK trip pictures at my facebook there. You can go there and take a look. The feeling of waiting for released of exam results really is nervous. Imagine knew that results have already been released on monday afternoon, about 3pm, 1 day earlier. However, only Yr 4 could not check their results as they have not been released. Waiting for the result out really is not easy. Hoping for a pass in all the subjects and being able to graduate after 1 year of extension. As a promise to Dickson and Jee Yang, we go to starbucks for a drink, on my treat and since then, I kinda like their chocolate cream chips. Nice, sweet and chocolatey. hehe.

I will definitely be back again to KK for island hoping and visit other places in KK and who know, I might even dare to climb Mt Kinabalu.

Again, I'm back to Kuching on 24th May until now. Practically doing nothing at home, watching movie, drama, anime and play game. Waiting for the convo invitation letter was tiring as well, but that has been done few days ago. Now waiting to go back to KL on 27th of June for convo which falls on 2nd of July. Another tiring day and lots of photo shooting. Hope that my 2 weeks trip to KL will be a fruitful one.

Since I have completed my studies, now I'm waiting for offer letter my SPA and also posting letter my KKM. Hopefully I will get Kuching for my posting. Sabah is nice also since can travel here and there, just like Mr Wong. Haha. Not to mention, I also will able to earn extra more. Hope for the best in it. Posted back to Kuching also nice. However, being a pharmacist is not easy since it will be very busy, especially the 1st yr of being a PRP.

Our World, Their War

"Which side do you choose? Autobots? Decepticons?"

As the day come to an end, the Decepticons come closer to earth, trying to overtake the earth at all cost. I, as the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, together with my fellow comrades, will protect the human and earth at all cost.

First of all, I will set up my base at a secret location. It will not be called as a secret hideout if it is easily spotted or found by the Decepticons. Together with my fellow comrades, our base/secret hideout is fitted with state of the art computer, not known by the human race, with high tech defences.

The Decepticons will always come from the outer space as their base is located on the moon.

Not to mention, the Decepticons have the ability to fly. Due to this, my HQ should be equipped with a high power radar, being able to detect the Decepticons even before they enter into the earth atmosphere. When their present is detected, I will activate the electromagnetic force field which surrounds every major city on earth, giving us an edge in protecting the earth.

That is all about defense. How about offense?

Since there are only limited number of Autobots on planet earth, I would like to transport more Autobots from my home planet, Cybertron.

However, Cybertron is a distance planet many many light years away from earth. Due to this, a mean of transporting my fellow comrades from Cybertron to planet earth is a need. So, constructing a space bridge at a fast pace is needed without the knowledge of the Decepticons.

Via the space bridge, i will be able to call out for more helps from Cybertron.

When the Decepticons attack Earth previously, they already knew how to combine themselves into something strong, such as the construction bots.

While me on the other hand, with the some help, manage to combine with Jetfire, I manage to become stronger and manage to defeat the previous wave of Decepticons attack.

With the help of All Spark, I will help my fellow comrades in obtaining this power, the power of combining 2 Autobots into 1 stronger one. The Decepticons are always way bigger than Autobots and through this way, this will balance out the battle field.

After we manage to fence off the fierce attack of Decepticons on earth, together with my comrades, we will striker the Decepticons headquarter. As the name suggest, we, as Autobots, mostly are in vehicle form. Due to this, I will need a spaceship to attack the Decepticons base on the moon.

By striking the final target on the moon, I will then be able to completely protect planet earth from Decepticons. Thus, I will win the war against Decepticons. The battles with Decepticons really will drain lots of my energy and times. Thus, I need to focus all my energy into this final battle to protect planet earth.

Last but not least, with the victory against Decepticons, our battles will be made into epic movies by GSC movies.

I’m a Pirate, Take Me To Stranger Tides!

Pirate is a notorious people, specialized in robbing other ships, exploring uncharted water as well as non-stop adventures.

For me, the main reason being a pirate is being able to explore uncharted water. As I'm going to graduate soon, I will take the opportunity of being free of any burden and become a pirate and earn my fortune while sailing. Being a pirate, together with a whole bunch of shipmates, I will be able to go to anywhere on earth, exploring places not on the map, seeing unimaginable places, beautiful places, places with lots of wonder and who knows, I might stumble upon things that are out of this world.

Discovering a totally new race at isolated island/location, which is out of the ordinary.

Being able to swim with dolphin in the crystal clear ocean.

Who knows, I might be able to find proof of aliens while sailing with pirates.

All these can only be seen and experienced personally if I were a pirate, sailing the great sea and exploring the uncharted water.

Next, being a pirate, I will be able to obtain great amount of fortune unimaginable.

Pirates always have treasure maps that will lead that to the hidden treasure, treasures that are in abundance and great fortune.

Treasures are not only found on land, but also underwater too. Scavenging from the shipwrecks, some hidden treasure and priceless antiques could be found and sold to the highest bidder.

Who knows, I might even find golds in the treasure chest. Nowadays, price of gold are high. Price of gold will never go down. In an abundance of gold coin at my disposal, I do not worry anymore and lead a luxuries life, with fame and fortune.

The ultimate treasure that all the pirates are looking for, including me, is the Fountain of Youth. A myth among the pirates and sea dwellers. If I were able to found it along my journey, I will keep it a secret and visit this place once a while to get young again. By being young all the time, I will be able to enjoy the great and exciting life.

Last but not least, by being a pirate, I will be able to experience of a real-life pirate, being able to walk with the real pirate, instead of make belief and imagining thing. It will be once in a life time opportunity and I will be trained in many many ways. By being a pirate, one's courage will be trained. Bravery will be certain to be come by its own. Pirates are wicked and by being a pirate myself, I need to outwit the others and survived. Strength will come too as pirates work hard to man the ship, clean and fix the ship. All these will out of reach if I stay in my current situation, just study and do nothing. Yes, my thinking will increase, but what about my physical strength? So, the answer to this is by being a pirate. Pirates are agile in nature and can be acquired with daily training.

Sword fighting is essential for all pirates. Being a pirate myself, I will be master of the sword, slicing everyone who is in my path of victory.

Besides that, I will also be able to learn how to use a gun. Pirates are outlaw, they tends to break most of the law written in the world, except for the pirate world. Being said so, owning and using a gun is cool in a way and self defense. Who knows, I might used my shooting skill to kill the enemies and save the day.

As a pirate, I will also be able to experience the hardship and kinship with my fellow shipmates. Trust and cooperation is within our soul.

As a conclusion, although pirates are not consider a legit occupation with our life at stake, the fun, joy and excitement will not be experience in any other jobs in this world. Not to mention, being to see everything and feel everything with my own, I will have a great deal of stories to share with my friends back at hometown.

Exam coming soon

Here is an quick update. Class have ended since last friday and today is the first day of 1 week study breaks.

Already done my SPA interview at SPA office, Putrajaya. 1st person to be interview on day 1 by 1 interviewer. What a day.

This is the start of study break, which means i only have 6 more days before my 1st paper on monday which is clinical clerkship, follow by pharmacotherapy 2 on the next paper on thursday.

First day of study week, i spent about 9 hours in the library. what a day. really tiring indeed.

CNY 2011

I know that this is kinda an outdated post since CNY has past for almost 1 month d. How time flies. Time really wait for no one. hehe.

Anyway, CNY for this yr is kinda short compare with last yr and do not really have much CNY mood. Most probably because almost everyone start work and start class on 7th of Feb (Chu 5). hehe. I din play some mahjong with the same ppl every year, din gamble, din drink. haha.

Ang pao wise, bout the same every year. hehe

When I'm back to KL, i followed my friends to Tian Hou Gong.

I even go to ask for a 签, pray to 月老and 财神. The 签 is quite ok, just need to work hard in order to get wat i want. hehe.

Last weekend (26 and 27 Feb), i went up to Genting and overnight there alone. Haha.

What an experience and I din not meet with any friendly ghost. Really got nothing much to do there if no go to theme park or casino. I was practically tired because of lots of walking to explore the place, less time to enjoy the cool breeze there. I also manage to try the durian cendol and it was a disappointment. sad.

Yesterday, 1st of March, me and my friends go to Jogoya for our buffet lunch. Very full. but food is just so so loh. nothing special also. hehe

After the buffet, i dropped by at Fahrenheit KL for the book fair and bought myself this.

Practically, it took me bout less than 1 hour to finish it. haha. It is just a small and compact book.

I have done so much in 1 month time and another 1 month plus and i will sit for my final exam d and I have not really study much up till now. Need to really work hard already. This yr convocation is set on 2nd and 3rd of July. Means i got only 1 chance only if wanna attend this yr convo. All the best to me and my coursemates.

December 2010 update

It has been quite some times since I update my blog. Main reason, final exam just finish about 1 month ago. For tat 1 months plus of preparing final exam and also siting the final exam, i barely have time to update this blog, or rather lazy. Haha. If back-dated more, I was busy with my clerkship, going to Hospital KL and it was really tiring after reach home. Not to mention, miss out a lot of Nuffnang activities and events. Really miss those day. Plus without transportation, really is troublesome to get back from a distance location, inaccessible by public transport. Even there is public transport, when the activities finish, it usually finish about 11 pm. haha

So now, here I'm, sitting at my home in Kuching, practically doing nothing. With 3 weeks of holidays already pass and another 3 weeks to go, not much have I achieved besides online, watch drama, movie, gaming and eat. Haha. Not to mention, hitting mosquito, with average of 5 per days. haha.

Another half a year and i will be graduating my Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours. Not an easy course programme and really is a time consuming one as well. Need to sacrifice a lot of time and energy in attending the classes, labs, practicals, attachment and clerkship, as well as preparing for exams. Not to mention, knowing lots of people also. Hopefully will be able to graduate and work in a good hospital.

Let the other person learn about you while you're sober, before you get wasted with them. Alcohol should be introduced into the relationship slowly, but if a drink or two takes the edge off, and wine adds romance it;s fine. Just dont push it too far.

4. Heavy Make-Up Is a Turnoff. Men always appreciate a natural look as it is, when a girl does her make-up well, the results can be magical. But the one thing that should never happen is excessive application - too much, too many colours, or if it's just a botched attempt at a good make-up makes like the earth and erodes and changes with weathering. There is nothing more ghastly than make-up run amuck in the morning after spending the night together.

5. Women Put Pressure On Themselves to Get Married. Women say that they feel more pressure to settle down because they cant have children easily past a certain age. Men dont feel pressure in that sense, but do fear that their appearance and their 'game' will fade as they get older.

6. Women Will Never Understand Men's Sports Obsession. There are some women who love sports, but are they as obsessed with sports like guys are? Men read about sports every day, and go over statistics. There is no reason why women wouldnt understand or know sports lie guys do if they were as obsessed.

7. Women Are Not the Only Ones Who Engages In Retail-Therapy Post-Breakup. People have shopped during emotional low points. Wearing new clothes makes them feel confident. There is also a social aspect of shopping because you are usually with friends, consorting with other shoppers and salespeople. 18. Men Play Hard to Get. Sometimes, they just act like men have no chance, even though they might like them. Then, man gets really tender and gives all of his attention to this girl who thought she had no chance.

Sorry people for not updating this blog for very long time already.

Well, class has ended. finish all my report and now gonna prepare for final exam. Pharmacy clerkship was fun except for TDM clerkship where you really need to think and filled your mind with pharmacokinetic stuffs and using pharmacokinetic words. Haha. Really stress when preparing the clerkship report.

My final exam start on 1st of November 2010, follow by 8/11, then 10/11, then 12/11 and finally 16/11. then 2nd week will be a hectic week since it consist of 3 papers in 1 week.

Currently I have 2 weeks of study break and today already is the 2nd day. Time really fly and time really wait for now wait. Need to work hard and cannot always play already. Lucky to find a good study place in library. Really quiet and the temperature not tat really cold even sit under the air cond. Hehe. My dear pharmers, you can join me if wan to but dont distract me.

Food that I miss

Suddenly thought of food that I miss back in Kuching. To be honest, I do not miss Sarawak Kolo Mee because i can eat it here in KL, somemore nearby my house. Just 5 minutes walk only. Haha. The taste is there, just the noodle is different. Well, what to you expect more. Seem like I have eating this stall punya noodle for almost 1 year already. A loyal fan indeed. Haha. Too bad I din manage to take any picture. Will remember to take picture when I have the chance next time.

For food that I miss, tat will be Sarawak Laksa. When I was young, I do not like to eat laksa because it is spicy. After I grown up and left hometown, I started to like Sarawak Laksa. Haha. Everytime my friends studying outside of Kuching will say they miss this food, tat food, like kolo mee, sarawak laksa, kueh chap and etc. I only miss Sarawak Laksa as well as ABC which stand for Air Batu Campur. The taste is different from KL and the price also different. Kuching one sweeter than the rest. Haha. I have tried Sibu and Bintulu one and yet I still like Kuching among all. Melaka famous for its Durian cendol which i also like, a cendol filled with durian. Downside of it is it uses gula melaka which I dont really like the taste.

Regarding the location of place where I always visit to get my sarawak kolo mee, well, it is located in Taman Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant name is Coffee & Tea. You will not miss it since it has a big signboard at the front there. Besides there also have a poster saying Sarawak Kolo Mee. So you wont miss it. If you do miss it, go look for Hong Leong bank in Taman Connaught and the kopitiam is just nearby it. Wont hard to find one since the kopitiam is also a corner shop.

Time, for me is very important since I'm very particular about time one. For others, some might think that time could be bend as ones like it.

How to see if a person is very time concern?

Punctuality
Wear watch to check the time from time to time
Usually will arrive earlier than the time fixed even though need to wait for about 5 to 20 min

These are just some basic things you can look at to check you yourself or your friends if he/she is/are time concern. For me, I really have these kind of syndromes. No kidding. If I say to my friend that I will pick him/her up at 8.30 pm, I usually will arrive earlier one. Thats is me.

Being a time concern people, I have the habit of doing things last minute, study last minute. haha. Weird. Thats is humanity. No one is perfect. Sometimes you also need to accept the fact that some people do like to reach at location on time or bit late since he/she will think that the other person will be slightly late a bit. Tolerance is the key of success.

Times really do fly. With a blink of an eye, an accident occur or you could be safe from serious injuries because you are slower. I have already been here in KL for four years. Times really flies. Not to mention, time wait for no one. Without you doing anything, time will continue move on without waiting for you. There is no pause in the system, no waiting or stopping.

I could not really remember what had been during primary school, not to mention secondary school. I could only remember some bits of them, some happy, some sad, some memorable. Without knowing it, I almost reach 25 years old in another half more year. Time really flies.

As a conclusion, time really is important in our life. There is no extra time for special people. All having the same 24-hrs per day. Remember to use your time properly and not waste them. Greed you day with smiles and you will feel happier by the end of the day, knowing that you have used your time properly and efficiently.

World Cup 2010

Finally, World Cup 2010 has come to an end and won by Spain. The title of world best to be held at Spain for 4 years before the next World Cup is organized. Congrats to Spain. Overall, I could say that the match was really rough since more than 10 yellow cards have been given to both teams. This showed that today match was rough indeed. In another point of view, both teams are desperate to score a goal as well as prevent the opposing team in scoring their first goal. A total 95 mins of official game play before continue into extended time. At first, I thought it will end up as penalty kick, but a goal was scored at few minutes before the end of game. The one and only goal in the match. The Golden Ball.

During the match, many yellow cards were shown towards the players, some includes dangerous move, fly kicking the opposing team, arguing with the referee as well as taking off the football jersey. Not to mention, 1 red card was shown and Netherlands was forced to play with 10 persons.

This is the man who scored the only goal during the match, Iniesta.

If there were more goals during the match, I wont feel that sleepy. In other words, both teams have good defense. There were many close call when both teams nearly manage to score a goal but in vain. There where some offside that were not caught by the lines man. Too bad about it since we, as viewer could not do anything about it except accept it as it is. Congrats again to Spain for winning the 2010 World Cup.

Paul the octopus managed to predict the outcome of this match. The prediction is correct. Here is the video of the prediction done by Paul. Really unbelievable that most of his prediction come trues.

From my point of view, the prediction always gone to the right-hand side of the food tank. Most probably it is hungry and will definitely go for the nearest food source it could find. Or could it be that Paul is always at the right hand side of the aquarium before the food tanks are lowered into it? Just some questions for thought. The probability of getting it correct is 50%. What will happen to the octopus when the prediction is wrong? Will it be truth that Paul will be on the chopping board? Only chef will know. Haha.

Congrats again to Spain for winning the World Cup 2010.

My mission is simple, come to a country call Malaysia.

Observe the surrounding, study the people, learn how their mind tick and report to Russia. I need to do all these without being found by the authority of Malaysia. My task is simple since I can easily can assess into Malaysia through the proper route due to 'Visit Malaysia' programme.

I will pretend myself as a tourist from Russia, visiting Malaysia. A weapon always equipped by the tourist is a camera. By using the camera, I can snap all sort of pictures around me without being suspected. Because I'm a tourist and I can do what ever I wanted to do, as long as I do not alert the authority.

Malaysia is known as a country of smile. All the people in Malaysia will greed you with smile and they are friendly. Not to mention, there are many races and religions in Malaysia. But how do they all come together as one community. And thus, this is where I come in. I need to learn from them how do they mix around perfectly without any slight misunderstanding or argument.

My secondary objective will be visited the proud landmark of Malaysia, the Petronas Twin Tower.

Not to mention, observe and learn from the people of Malaysia how they build such a magnificent building and still standing proudly.

My next task is to learn some of Malaysia cuisine and infused them into Russian culinary.

My tasks will not be easy as they are tedious. Look simple but time consuming. Really takes time to mingle around with the citizen of Malaysia. Occasionally, I will report back to my superior about my finding, just like a progress report. By doing so, the superior will know where am I and will come and rescue me if anything bad happen to me.

After I completed my mission, I will go back to Russia and share my knowledge and finding to my superior and thus making Russia an even stronger country.

I wanna be The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Most of the people in this world wanted to have some magical power, and by doing so, he or she will be more superior than other people, including me. Hehe.

Why I wanna become the sorcerer's apprentice? Well, being a sorcerer's apprentice is the chance of a life time and this chance is hard to drop by. If I'm giving the chance to become the next sorcerer's apprentice, I will accept it immediately even thought need to leave my comfort zone to a new environment. Being a sorcerer's apprentice will give me the opportunity to learn many many magical spells unknown to the normal human being. Manipulation of the natural elements, shooting fireball from the bare hand, levitation, not to mention fly, and many others.

Besides learning these magical spells, my master will even share with me the hidden secret of the world. Without the secret, there will be no magic. Some of the hidden secrets are hidden from the human civilisation and only the sorcerers have access to them. Some of the hidden secrets are even bigger than you could ever imagine, such as the evolution of human being. Having a slight insight of such a magnificent magical power and secret throughly will make me the strong sorcerer in this world. However, becoming a sorcerer's apprentice is the first step in realising my dream. So, once I become the sorcerer's apprentice, I will devote all my time in learning and practising the magical spells and get to know my master better.

With the new powers that I have obtained through apprenticing with a sorcerer, I will be able to fight the evil forces that are lurking in every corner of the streets, wanting to gain the magical power from the sorcerer. Besides that, being able to control the elements of the nature, some of the huge disasters can be prevented, such as earth quake, tsunami, flood and many more. A elemental could even summon a fire dragon at will. How cool is that.

The most important thing is to protect the innocent from danger and only use my magical power during emergency only and not for showing off.

Monday, 5th of July 2010 marks the beginning of a whole new year for me. It is because today is the 1st day of lecture which is also my final year of pharmacy degree life. Hopefully I will be able to survive this predicament. Hehe

Since April until June, I can say that I have gotten pretty lucky myself, winning some nice prizes and gifts.

1st of all is during PC Fair. Din not expect to get 2 free tickets to watch Video Games Live besides getting the wireless mouse and cooling pad.

Earn myself a way into the Malaysia Book of Records and at the same time, got myself some goodies from Gatsby. Details can visit here.

Next is I was told that I won myself 1 service voucher from Asterspring when I join the tweet competition, organized by powerruum. Late on, I won another voucher but could not use it because I was away at Kuching.

I also received my Snax card from KFC. The new membership programme from KFC, known as Snax. Kinda disappointed with the free gift. Old necklace from X-men 3 merchandise.

During beginning of May, the landlord and landlady decided to go to China for vacation for 1 month. So, I took the opportunity to use the plasma TV, connected to my laptop, watching video. haha. A nice experience indeed and I learnt how to use the 'extend display' function.

Project Alpha Instant Cash Blogging really make me happy. I got myself 10 out of 21 topics. Not bad. Not to mention, I also win the Project Alpha Daily Contest. Not 1 but 3 out of 50 days. A nice try indeed.

I also won myself a CD by John Mayer: Battle Studies from musicruum.

The most important one is that I have finally received my cheque after 1 year of waiting. My 3rd cheque from Nuffnang. Thanks to everyone out there who visit my blog even though I din not update often. A really big amount indeed for a student like me. Gonna save it for future use.

Holidays

Sorry guys and girls for not updating my blog.

My final exam start on 26th of April 2010 and finish on 26 of April 2010. Why only 1 day? Well for some of you that already known it or have not know it, I'm retaking only 1 subject last semester and 26 of April 2010 is the 1st day of exam for pharmacy students in UCSI university. So, basically I have 2 months plus of holiday, practically doing not much thing. A busy holiday indeed. A very happening 2 months for me as well.

1st week of holiday, I din do much at all, stay at home, play games, watch movies.

2nd week of holiday or 1st week of May, help out in the pharmacy and went to the lab to continue my research. Do the tiring job once again, extracting, preparing the samples, pipetting and taking the UV, with the help of Dr Gabriel on the last day of experiment. Very tiring indeed.

3rd week of holiday, went to MV for my free facial treatment. The competition is by Powerruumz, under Ruumz. The service voucher is worth RM 128. However, the lowest price for a basic treatment is RM 168. Since I never do any facial before and giving such a chance to do facial in one of the famous place in KL, I just give it a shot, with topping up of RM 40. Kinda worth it and once in a lifetime experience. My first time. Not to mention, they using Dermalogica product.

I even attended the Oath Taking Ceremony for my fellow friends.

The following week, me and my friends went to Taman Negara located in the state of Pahang. A 3 days 2 nights trip. Consider a tiring trip because I already had muscle pain on the 2nd day. After Taman Negara Trip, went to Penang for 4 days 3 nights, visiting various places there, trying out some of the famous food.

After Penang trip, we fly straight to Kuching and spent 5 days 4 nights before heading out to Sibu. That is how i spent the 4th week of May.

After Sibu, we went up the state, to Bintulu, visited Taman Tumbina where we found some money on the ground. Unfortunately, the trip to Bintulu and Sibu were not that lucky since could not get the chance to try out their famous Kampua.

After Bintulu, come back to Kuching and the 1st week of June is almost gone.

2nd week of June, the most important one is on Monday, 7th of June, whereby the university decided to released our results in the morning, about 10am and I passed my exam. Finally able to step into my final year of pharmacy course. Besides that, went for badminton and Dota session as well, with some yumcha sessions with old classmates.

3rd week of June, another batch of friends from West Malaysia decided to come to Kuching. Guide them around, following them and become a assistant guide. haha.

4th week of June, another batch of friends from West Malaysia will come to visit Kuching. As a friend and classmate, will become co-guide again, bringing them around Kuching, tiring myself out. haha.

Now already left 2 weeks before I depart to KL since the new semester will start in 5th of July. Not much time left as I feel that I din not relax much, rest much. I think thats all from me. Finally, 49 episodes of Alpha Blogger Season 2 with 1 bonus episode of Adidas Pure Ole KO Challenge. What an exciting one.

For me, I personally like Niki Cheong when he went to UK together with Jojo to interview Xiaxue. Being able to travel to UK just to interview Asia most influential blogger, Xiaxue is indeed an opportunity of a life time for him and for us fellow bloggers. This is because we also got to know how Xiaxue think and work. Not to mention, brief introduction of London and which place should we pay a visit when we do have a chance to drop by there.

Besides that, I also like the part where all the Alpha Bloggers from season 1 pay a visit to Kuching. Why? Well, first of all, I'm from Kuching and of cause I like it here in Kuching. Seeing all the nice scenery in Kuching really soothing. Not to mention, one of a kind aerobic dance at Level Up gym. Funny moments and enjoyable one.

A visit to Lost World of Tambun is among one of my favourite moments in Alpha Blogger Season 2. Well, to be honest, it is the first time I heard of this place and when I passby it when I'm on my way to Penang from KL, really bring some funny moments from the video. One of them is the monkey stealing the adidas deodorant and also how KY and Shaolin Tiger trying to plan some evil scheme.

Really sad that with just a blink of an eye, season 2 has finally finish. Hope to see more in season 3.

Blocked Hole

When you have block nose or flu, basically the food tat you eat will be tasteless, not a complete one since for us to perceive taste, we need both our taste bud and olfactory to work together to bring the real taste to life.

When you have airway filled with mucous, the feeling of something is in the throat and could not get it out even when cough very hard and loud really is annoying. Even when taking mucolytic and it is not working that fast, we only can do is hope for the best.

When you have constipation, it is as if like your anus is blocked by a hard stool, even when you try to defecate, the feeling of something still remaining in your butt hole really annoying. haha.

Today, basically I suffered from 2 of the 3 blocked hole. Really make my uneasy and moody.

Anyway, will be going to Taman Negara soon in a couple of hours and hopefully, the trip can relax my mind and hopefully reset my mindset and prepare myself for the clinical and rigorous 4th year of my pharmacy course.

Why Smartphones can be Dumbphones

I have been using smartphones for 6 years or 7 years already, starting with my Nokia 6630 to my present Nokia N73.

Nokia 6630 was said to be the 1st phone to have 3G capability while my current one also possessed 3G capability. Yet, up till now, I seldom used my phone to surf the internet. The main reason is the expensive GPRS fee which will go sky rocket within 10 minutes of surfing only. With facebook, twitter and messenger, the GPRS fee can easily reach RM 10 or more per day. Really a lot for a student. Even with the present Digi Campus plan, max GPRS fee per day is RM 5 and for a student, consider expensive. If you surf everyday, it will end up being RM 150 per month. Doesnt it worth it to subscribe the latest DG Smart Plan with only RM 68 per month for unlimited internet usage.

Besides that, checking for email become a problem since it involve GPRS usage as well. Refreshing the webpage every time to check for update will also use GPRS and which ultimately involve $$. Being not able to check important mail is really frustrated when you know that there is one particular mail waiting to reply, especially the Nuffnang confirmation reply to participate in event. Being out whole day without internet access really add the pressure on you. Plus do not wanna check the email on your smartphone because it involve $$. Having to be not able to reply to Nuffnang within the nick of time will eventually meaning not able to participate in the event or movie screening really will make a person sad, myself included. Having to prepare the necessary blog post or think of a creative slogan and finally have the opportunity to participate in the event and win prizes, yet because of not able to reply the email really will disappoint me and I believe everyone as well.

GPS or global positioning system is one of the hottest demand in the market nowadays for a smartphone.

After I update my N73, i notice that there is a new application onboard, which is 'Map'. Within minutes, i try it out and found out that it is like a GPS. However, normal telco charges apply, meaning it will have GPRS charges. Again, being afraid of using so much money, I just leave the application aside, not wanting to use it anymore. Haha.

Being a person that will spend wisely and have strict budget guideline, I try to limit myself of a monthly usage of RM 30, with a daily usage of RM 1. Because of this, GPRS usage has not been taken into account and will not be using it. The RM 1 usage is for sms and call only. Haha.

Not able to fully utilise the 3G capability of my smartphone really make me sad and frust.

Last but not least, if you used smartphone once, you will never ever change back to the normal phone. Once a smartphone user will always be a smartphone user. Believe me.

Huai Bin for the Adidas Ole KO Challenge!

I think every single of the season 1 and season 2 bloggers will have their change of winning. For me, I think Huai Bin has a chance of winning over the rest of the bloggers. This is because, one has to be able to kick a ball and energetic as well. Accuracy is important as well to be able to shoot the ball into the goal.

Since Adidas Ole KO Challenge is one of a kind challenge whereby the match will be one on one in a spherical steel cage. The objective of the challenge is to score as many points as possible within a set time frame by kicking the ball through their opponent's legs. Due to this endurance and skill is needed and not for the fainted heart.

This challenge required the person to be brave and strong and swift enough to score as many point as possible. Huai Bin is a suitable candidate for this challenge since he is brave in doing all those extraordinary stuffs. Coordination of body and legs are important in controlling the ball and shooting the ball through their opponent's legs since the opponents will avoid the ball as well. So, swift attack by the attacker is needed to score a point for themselves. In my point of view, Huai Bin definitely has these quality in scoring many many points and thus win the challenge. I believe that you ca do it and win the challenge. All the best.

Some of the people in the society do not know what is AIDS or even HIV. HIV is Human immunodeficiency virus which cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). HIV can be within our body if we are exposed to them will remain hidden until our body immune system has become weak, then the HIV will become dormant and start to cause various sickness.

Awareness is important as the spread of HIV or AIDS can be stopped once we know how does this disease spread. HIV does not take account who they attack as whoever you are, you are prone to become the carrier of HIV if unaware of it. Once the HIV resurface, the 'shelf-life' will be much shorter. AIDS does not cause death but secondary infection caused it. This is due to the fact that the HIV attack our body immune system and cause the destruction of our immune system. AIDS can be prevented by some simple prevention measurements.

Prevention of AIDS is really is as easy as ABC. WHY? AIDS can be spread by the body fluid of the carrier such as blood, semen and others. One of the most important vector is the blood. If the person is a HIV carrier, the virus will be definitely in the blood. Thus, in any way possible, do avoid contact with blood of unknown origin. Who knows what there are inside a droplet of blood. A since droplet of blood can contain millions of virus, readily to invade the other person once in contact with it.

Besides that, since sex is among one of the means of spreading HIV, playing safe sex is important, which by using a condom, in either male or female. Nowadays, not only males can wear condom, even the females can also wear condom since there are available in the market.

Next, annual health screening is important to check whether you are a HIV carrier or not or even a AIDS patient if you have multiple sex partners. Family planning is also important as health screening before marriage to ensure the other partner do not have AIDS. Even if he or she have it, avoidance is not recommended since prevention can be done.

Last but not least, our children are innocent. Do not involve them in AIDS. Children are the future of the world, the pillar of the society. Beware of AIDS in the society. Prevention is always better than cure. In AIDS perspective, there is no cure currently available in the market. Beware.

April Update

Sorry for did not update my blog often. The main reason is that I kinda lazy and also dont have any idea on what to write. Anyway, kinda like Project Alpha very much, not to mention the song is nice to listen. Downside of it is that the music is louder than the voice. Haha.

On 26th of April 2010, it is the 1st day of exam for the students of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, UCSI University. For me, it is the last day of exam as well. Having said that, I have been free since last monday and today marks 1 week holiday for me. Practically din not do much as most of the time stay at home, din not go out due to money constrain. Haiz.

What I did in April?

On 2 of April 2010, went all the way to Selayang to try out the Italian Cone Pizza for the first time with a friend of mine.

On 7 of April 2010, attended Project Alpha Launching cum Kick-Ass Movie screening at Cathay Cineplex @ e@curve.

On 26 of April 2010, I sat for my final exam and the subject is Central Nervous System & Pharmacotherapy.

On 30 of April 2010, I attended CG01 and CG02 outing with Jasmine and Wilfred being the CG leader respectively. Went to Co Do, Mid Valley for dinner as well as surprise birthday celebration for Jasmine and farewell for one of the members of CG01.

Last but not least, I have cashed out my Nuffnang earning after 11 months in the making. All thanks to Project Alpha Instant Cash Blogging for the boost. Will be waiting for the arrival of cheque in Kuching.

p/s: Will be heading to Taman Negara Pahang on 17 of May 2010 for 3D2N after they finish their exam. Good luck to all my friends who are having their final exam now. 2 more weeks to go. Also congratulations to all my friends who have graduated from University and good luck in finding the right job.

My New Found Love

Yup. You hear it correctly. I have a confession to make. I have just found my love few weeks ago. All I can say is love at 1st sight.

One day, I was feeling thirsty and hot. So, I went into the convenient stall and there she was, standing besides the drinking machine, wearing green. Really magnificent. There is no doubt about it. At first, I dare not to approach her and just walk pass her.

After a few visits, I could say that I can see her almost every time I drop by. In 1 week time, maybe will drop by 1 to 3 times and most of the time, there she was, in the convenient stall. Haha

Her name is Green Buzz, Apple flavour. Sweet and slight sour taste. really nice. But the ice always melt very fast. Haha. When drink it, really feel refreshing. Really fall in love with Slurpee!!!

Road Trip with Broadband

Last time, to be able to online is kinda possible when you are on the go. If you are an internet person which always need internet connection to online, check email and do business online, sure you need to drop by to the cyber cafe to online. When you are on the road, you sure will either stay at hotel, hostel or even budget hotel. Well, some of these accommodation will provide internet service for you, either free of charge or charge with, and it is not cheap, I guarantee you.

To overcome this, some of the mobile service provider come out with data plan which make you able to online on the go. But these data plan required you to purchase a new handphone or smartphone under their contract. Here are some example of them.

As you can see, when you subscribe the data plan, it is not cheap since you need to pay quite a number of money for the service. Not to mention, the handphone that you are currently using also need to be compatible with the data plan, for example, Iphone, Blackberry, HTC and others. Usually the data plan is suitable for people who are always on business and constantly need to check their email and businesses online, without the need of big screen.

For me, if I do wan to subscribe the data plan, of course I need to think twice since I pay what I used. I think internet on the go has not reach my need yet, since I seldom twit, not to mention facebook. But using a phone with a small screen, really need to think twice.

With wireless broadband, I can use my own laptop, bring it outside of my house and still can online where ever I go, as long as it is within coverage area. If you are on the road, of course you need a small and portable modem for you to online, check your mail and other. Nowadays, this has become a truth as P1Wimax is offering a USB wireless modem where you can constantly online where ever you go to. To me, I really make my life easier if I do have it. I can just put the USB modem into my pocket and bring my laptop along with me can go every where I wanted to. Not to mention, I can always online when using the public transport, but be aware of pick pockets. Online when you use the public transport is not a rare things in other countries, such as Singapore.

When I on my trip back or to the airport, I really hope that I can constantly connected to the internet, keep in touch with my friends. Without internet, really feel uncomfortable. Internet, to me, is life. No internet, no life. Kinda addicted to the internet d. With this portable USB modem in my hand, I can always be able to online when I use the bus or train to or from the airport. Really convenient to me.

Recently started using TweetDeck, just this morning only after seeing it from MsXeroz twitter update. So, I have the urged to just try it one. And to me, it really is very convenient as you can see all the twitter update, direct message and even facebook update. Not to mention myspace if you have one. Here is step by step in how to update both status in twitter and facebook at the same time.

Step one: Click on the add column button to add new column at the dashboard so that you can view people update without opening a web browser

Step 2: Click the FB icon beside the Twitter, then for me, i choose only status update from everyone.

Step 3: Click the add new account, then choose the facebook tab since you have not created an account in tweetdeck. Just like when you started using it and tweetdeck ask you to key in your detail for twitter.

Step 4: Then the following window will pop-up. Just key in the appropriate username and password for your FB account.

Alternative: Well, you also can click the [+] button which I circle. From here, it will direct you to step 3.

To update status on both twitter and FB, make sure that both facebook and twitter is 'On', or is click, or brighthen up or become white. Then you should be ok. Should be easy. Just click around and you sure will be able to do. Hope my simple guide will help. Cheers.

My Dream Destination

Everyone has a dream, without dream, there's no life. Hehe. I bet you have your own dream, you dream car, dream house, dream life-partner and so on. I myself also have my own dream. Today, I'm going to talk about my dream destination.

Since it is a dream, it can be realistic or not realistic, depends on how you see it. But somehow, it will come true in the future if you work for it. For my dream destination, I would like to prefer beach. The sandy white beach at some nice island, away from the hustle and bustle of the ciy. What a dream. Just like a getaway island, just like the 'Couple Retreat' movie where 3 couples went to a island for some escapade. I do like it if I got such chance in the future.

Island, with sandy beaches, can hear the sound of the wave when hit the beaches, then got natural forest in the island itself. What more if got nice river and waterfall. Wouldn't it be cool. My thought is already started to dream and image that I'm at this special island when I'm writting this. Just a moment to myself before I indulge myself with notes and notes and notes since I got final exam on monday. A very important paper as it will determine whether I can proceed or enter to 4th year. Hopefully I will be able to make it.

Back to my dream destination. Island as it sound, really is a nice and terrific location to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whats more if you are at this special island with your best friends or even on a honeymoon. *(need to plan for future one mah. hehe) Playing in the cystal clear ocean, on the sandy white beach, relaxing under the shade of the tree while listening to the sound of the wave and feel the breeze. What a nice way to relax. My last trip to such island is Pulau Perhentian. A nice trip indeed and I do hope that I got such a chance to go to a different island and enjoy what the island has to offer, not the type that you saw in 'LOST'. Haha. stranded on the island of a specific purpose. Not my cup of tea.

My Version of Grooming Tips

According to Oxford Dictionary, 'grooming' is the things that you do to keep your clothes and hair clean and neat, or to keep and animal's fur or hair clean.

Our outlook will give people their first impression about us, even without talking to us. If we do look neat, smart and tidy, for sure people will have good impression on us and vice versa. However, how to make sure we look neat, smart and tidy?

Tip 1:

Hair is one of the important aspects people will look out for. For a guy, the hair has to be short and tidy. No messy hair or long hair. If your hair is long, be sure to cut it. A shorter hair is easier to manage than a long hair, dont you agree? For girls with long hair and some guys that keep long hair, do make sure that your hair is tidy all the time and look neat. Do make sure that you wash your hair often because the shampoo scent will sure be an addition mark. Good impression ma. For guy with short hair, some styling of the hair would definitely look nice. Guys, remember to shave those unwanted hair, like beard or mustache.

Tip 2:

Body smell and sweat are a few things that we could not avoid. So, you can always bath few times in a day. And if you sweat a lot, you can always use deodorant. Perfume or cologne can also be used, provided they give off good scent, not a strong pungent smell as some people are sensitive to perfume. Keep this in mind.

Tip 3:

Do remember to iron your clothes. Those clothes that have wrinkles all over them. Why? First impression always important. Always bare in mind that a neat and tidy person will always be advantage than a messy person. You do want to look smart in front of your friends and strangers, right? So, remember to iron your clothes if they are wrinkles. Or, you can do what I do. Buy wrinkle-free clothes. But also remember that these clothes do not have much design in them. So you would really look stylish. Haha.

Tip 4:

Wear the right shoe for the right occasion. Always remember to wear appropriate shoe for the function that you are attending. Meaning that do not always wear sandal out. Really not nice looking one. Wear sport shoe if you do have an outing with friends. Girls, do not always wear high-heels as they will hurt your feet. I do admit that high-heels look nice with pretty outfit, but sometimes you can always wear the heel-less sandal. (sorry as I do not know the exact term)

Tip 5:

If you know that you are having a bad breath, use some breath-spray. Really help. Trust me. Or you can always take mints. Besides that, remember to brush your teeth since oral hygiene is important.

Pc Fair (1) KL 2010

16 of April 2010 marked the starting of a huge trade war going on in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and end on 18 of April 2010. I bet the total amount of stuffs being trades sure will be huge in number, including the money.

Pc Fair in KL is usually organized by PIKOM, 3 times a year, one in April, one in Jun or July and another one is in December. During pc fair, there will be various promotions, from free gifts, to discount and even lucky draw. Not to mention, there will be a lot of pretty show girls around. I saw a couple of them. Pretty indeed. Hehe. Like last year, I went to pc fair today is because I wanna subscribe GameAxis magazine. This magazine is mostly on game, ranging from pc to ps (ps1, ps2, ps3 & psp) to xbox to dreamcast and even our handphone. You name it. Mostly on introduction and review on the latest games and hottest games in the market in some hardware guide to choose from for your gaming purposes. These are the 2 magazine companies that are on war for the pc fair.

These 3 offers really are attractive but I stick to my original plan, to get hold of GameAxis which indeed is the correct decision. Why? Will tell later.

As usual, I take the UCSI U shutter bus to Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station, then take LRT to Hang Tuah, then change to monorel and get down at Raja Chulan station, which is in front of Wisma Genting and near Pavillion. After that, you will reach KLCC in 10 minutes time from the monorel station. Upon arrival, there were a lot of people waiting there which consist of exhibitors and visitors. Really people mountain people sea (人山人海). Lucky for me, manage to get a good spot near the entrance of KLCC. At 11am sharp, the visitors are allow into the building. People were rushing towards the entrance at Hall 4. Why? Because people are rushing to the magazine booths to subscribe the magazines as limited free gifts are available. Unfortunately for us, we all were block again from entering the hall. Why? I do not know. maybe the preparation has not been done completely. After 10 minutes of waiting in front of the door, jam packed, we all were then allowed into the hall. As usual, people rush to the magazine booth. Not to mention, both these 2 magazines booth are side by side and people are queue up already. Luckily for me, this time, the subscription of GameAxis and HWM magazine is separated and I do not need to wait long for my turn. Even luckier for me, I was the second one to subscribe and they even gave me 2 complementary tickets to watch Video Game Live (click the link for more detail about it). They even took my picture. But I do not know how many tickets they are giving out. The tickets are for tomorrow, 17 of April, 8.30pm show at Plenary Hall, KLCC. Seating wise, is the cheapest among all and the most behind one. I check the ticketing website and found out that the cheapest seat already cost RM 84 each. What a luck. I pay RM 84 for 1 year subscription of magazine and get not only 2 tickets for the concert, but also 1 Evercool Zodiac Cooler and also Sensonic cordless laser mouse CX6. Normal price for the cooler is RM 75 and RM 65 for the mouse. Both are pc fair price. Really worth while to go there and subscribe.

I also bought the back-to-back promotion, which is 4 passed issues, either GameAxis or HWM magazine, which cost me only RM 10 for 1 bundle. Not bad as one issue already cost RM 12.

Besides that, like last year, there were also broadband war at Hall 5. Broadband that were around, not in order, were Streamyx, Digi, Celcom, Maxis, P1Wimax, AmMax or Wimax. Most of their promoter stand in the outside of their booth, all form into 2 lines where the visitors only can walk in between them. Haha. Wasting their saliva on people like me. Not to mention, laptop promoter also. Reallly haiz. When I approach the Acer booth and check out the netbook, I ask him about the weight of the netbook and he pointed at the width (w) of the netbook. Weight and width is not same. Tell him twice then he understand. Haha. Then I say nvm. Then another thing is, when I went to Toshiba, again, they told me that Toshiba is very good coz got HDD shock absorber and I told them I knew d. Haha. Really wasting their saliva on people like me. People that only ask but dont buy. Haha. Interesting. But that is their job to promote, promoter mah. haha. Besides that, the costume for Avira really look weird. Just like wearing a red apron. Tactic failure. Haha. There is even a GPS smartphone from the GPS manufacturer

After finish walking my round, I need to rush back to my uni for a talk at 2pm. After the talk, I went straight home and try the new gadget. Wireless mouse, not bad. Really smooth. 1600 dpi. Haha. A laser mouse. Can use without the mouse pad and move faster. Good mouse. Cooler, I think not that ngam as the fan is not directly blowing the air-intake hole of my laptop. Still feel hot. But the cooler is made from aluminium and really feel cool. Even cooler if in air cond room. haha.

Overall, I'm quite happy with my trip to PC Fair this time. Already earn my money back with the complimentary tickets and I invited Joshua to join me. Maybe will visit again next year if I'm free.

p/s: My whole shirt is wet when I arrive at KLCC and got wet again when reach UCSI from KLCC. haha. Too many sweat and I'm dehydrated.

"No string attached" usually is the common phrase people will say when there is no term and condition applied. Meaning, you got a win lose situation or even win win situation. Why if you may ask? Well, since the person offering you this special offer does not wan anything back from you, of cause it is good, benefit for you, sure untung one. Then for sure in your case, it is a win situation. But for the other person, might be a win or lose situation. Maybe because he/she is desperate to find people or simply just giving out the offer to everyone pass by. The best example is the McDonalds Breakfast voucher. Really is a 'no string attached' because you only need to present the voucher at any McDonalds outlet that offer breakfast and you can redeem a cup of coffee or a Sausage McMuffin, Free Of Charge. These offers rarely come by, I would say. However, do ignore the other offer that come with the voucher since involve usage of money to get those stuffs. Hehe.

Another usage of 'no string attached' is for wireless. Wireless nowadays has become a norm in everyone life. Wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless modem, wireless phone and others. These are all due to development of our technology. From wired to wireless. Really is a giant leap to the future. These wireless technology really make our life easier.

The internet has become a norm in our daily life. Without it, some people will not be able to survive. Just like me, without the internet, somehow I feel like I got disconnected to the world. However, I do survive without internet once a while, provided my time is fully used for entertainment or movie or outing. To be able to connect to the internet, last time people used dial-up to connect to the internet with the maximum speed is 56 kbps. Later on, broadband has been introduced into the market and everyone started to grab hold of it. From the lowest 300 kbps up to 4 mbps, depends on the personal preferences and choice. However, cable is still needed to connect to the internet. Later on, wireless modem is introduced into the market. This will get rid of the messy cable connected to the modem. Yet, some people are not satisfy with it because you cannot online outside of your house due to limited internet access.

With the introduction of wireless broadband, life has become must easier and internet is on the go. Just plug-in this small device into the USB port of your laptop where ever you are and you are ready to conquer the world-wide-web. Make sure the location you are in is within the coverage of your wireless broadband. If not, why bother to bring this small gadget and your laptop out. Right??

Birthday Celebration

8th of April is the birthday of Suk Yen while 7th of April is the birthday of Moses Lau. Din help Moses celebrate his birthday but do wishes him. For Suk Yen, as usual, we crashed by Secret Recipe for lunch and birthday celebration. Total people attending is 23. Really is a big crowd of people. They even bought 2 cakes for this occasion. After lunch, karaoke session, which is a favourite among the girls. This time, there were only 12 people left out of the 23 people. Again, the karaoke session always filled with laughter and joy and excitement. Different genre of songs where sang during the 4.30 hours karaoke session. After karaoke session, dinner at 100 degree steamboat located at Kuchai Lama. This time, there were only 7 people from the afternoon session with addition of 2 more people, bringing a total of 9 people who attended the steamboat session.

Happy birthday to Suk Yen, may all your wishes come true. Not to mention, I was very full for the whole night. Bloated with food.

Project Alpha Season 2 Launch cum Kick Ass Movie Screening

That the time on my arrival to the event on this momentous day as it signify the starting of Project Alpha Season 2, which fall on 19 of April 2010. Sorry to mention here but I din take any picture during the event itself. Very sorry about it for my dear readers but you can always check out other bloggers blog as I sure that they will have plenty of pictures uploaded to their blog.

On arrival at the cineplex, there were already people queuing up on the registration counter. However, the counter currently is open for the blogger make-over by Rimmel which pre-registered before hand. Back to the event, since we arrived earlier than expected, so we just hand around in one corner and see who arrive to the location. Some of the familiar face was seen during the night itself. Hehe. Speaking of which, we started to queue up once again to grab our movie tickets with goodies bag from Adidas. Besides that, there was food being served as well at the preview lounge just beside the registration counter. Due to our dismay, we already had our dinner before hand and were kinda full at that time as well. So, we only take a little of the food to try their taste. My comment for the food was average, more towards light refreshment. While we all waiting for the movie to start, some of the fellow bloggers mingle around with the alpha blogger from season 1 and season 2, also around close friends around the blogger world.

What is inside the goodies bag? Well, I got a Adidas Action 3 ProLevel anti-perspirant and also A Rimmel Mascara. But the mascara I gave to Lee Yen. Not 1 but 2. Same colour one. Brown.

Before the movie started, we were shown with a video clip on what to expect to see in the coming Project Alpha Season 2. It was really interesting and really make us excited in the sense of we cant wait for the airing of Project Alpha Season 2 soon. After the preview, the movie finally started. The title of the movie is "Kick Ass".

Synopsis:

"Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training."

To me, starting of the movie was kinda boring. As time goes by, climax started to build. Kick Ass got help from Big Daddy (BD) and Hit Girl (HG) when he was in trouble and from this moment on, they become friends. However, they din really cooperate and only contact each other when have problem. In this story, BD has a grudge with the villain of this movie, Mr Frank D'Amico. To take revenge, BD has to fight off the small fries of the enemy before facing the villain. HG is the child of BD which was train to fight, well skilled with weapon, which includes guns and knifes. In the end, together with Kick Ass, HG manage to kill Mr Frank and save the day.

Verdict: A very interesting movie I would say. The shooting scenes were the best. Haha. Do expect gun fights with bullets to the vital points and blood.

New Security at Taman Connaught

If you have notice since beginning of the year of before Chinese New Year, guard houses have been built on the 2 main entry to Jalan Pendita, on is behind the Alliance Bank while the other one is behind KFC. Not to mention, patrolling of the security guards around the neighbourhood keeping the area safe. Keeping the area is safe will definitely make the residents feel safer. Besides, even the police are patrolling the area and also mobile police station being set up in front of the shops. 3 cheers for them. However, for a student like me who always walk, things started to become troublesome when they started to build this barricade at the 3 small road connecting Jalan Pendita and Jalan Arif. Well, as long as it is passable, I'm ok with it. Those barricades really can stop motorbikes from entering Jalan Pendita. Even those cars wanna you the small road also need to pass through the GUARD house. Really wasting of time. Just this evening, what amaze me is the security personnel even put CHAIN on the barricade, like preventing people from passing through it. WHY wanna DO it?? The ROAD is not YOURS!! What is the function of the ROAD when CANNOT USE it?? Really STUPID people doing STUPID JOB. A usual walk that takes less than 5 minutes now need to take less than 10 minutes just to reach the restaurant. Really really very hate it. As thought it does not give us any freedom at all. Somemore I heard that they gonna implement stickers for the vehicle. No sticker means no entry. How about STUDENTS? Please think for yourself lah. This is an housing area with a UNI just besides it. DO expect of a lot of PEOPLE walking here and there. NOT all the PEOPLE are BAD.

Staying in such area do make me feel safe but feel uncomfortable, not to mention in this house. Haiz. Just like every thing that you are doing is being watched, as if I did something wrong or they are waiting for me to do some mistake and use that opportunity to teach me a lesson or even worst, might even chase me out. My Favourite Sport

Sport, is commonly defined as an organized, competitive and skillful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play. There are a varieties of sports either indoor, outdoor, individual or team. In Malaysia, few of the commonly played sports are badminton, football, basketball and others.

For me, I do not really like to exercise much, so all I can say that I'm very less involve in sport. However, one of the sport that I like to play is badminton which I seldom play also. haha. Why do I say like that?? For starter, I have a badminton racket and sometimes when I'm in the mood, I will go play badminton. When playing all this sport, one will sweat and I will sweat profusely and end up with smell. Haha. Well, common things happen in sport and is unavoidable one. After sport, I will feel more relax and like happy. Downside of it is feel tired and muscle ache since I rarely exercise.

So, badminton is my favourite sport that I like to play. One of the world renowned badminton player in Malaysia is Dato Lee Chong Wei as he just won the All England Championship and really make our country proud of him. Last but not least, we as a Malaysian, have to support him.

Besides that, formula one is my favourite sport which I like to watch. Why? Well, for starter, watching the high speed car running around the circuit really will build up the adrenaline. Most importantly is to wait for some major accident to happen. Viewing the replay is fun. Besides, when the driver is tailing behind another driver, preparing to overtake the front runner also will give your the adrenaline rush and give your anxiety since you do not know when he will overtake the front runner. Now that our country as its own formula 1 team, I think that as a Malaysia, we should support our own team, Team Lotus. But at the same time, support my favourite team as well, Team Ferrari. Haha. Thats the joy it in. Hoping that our favourite team will emerge as victor and champion.

I bet most of us have eaten pizza before, either at PizzaHut, Domino's, Italian's pizza, and many many more. What they have in common is their shape. Usually the pizza is in circular shape. A common thought will surface when think about pizza. Round.

How about cone pizza? cone shape?? Ice cream cone??

Well, Thanks to FoodStreet, I got the opportunity to try out this new kind of pizza in town. Courtesy of Foodstreet, I got myself a free meal at Italian Cone Pizza, Selayang branch. For this meal, I got the chance to try out their very own cone pizza with a mushroom shop and a drink which cost RM 15.90 for this set.

But Selayang?? Selayang is really far from Cheras, not to mention Taman Connaught UCSI. Well, I do ask my friends in Selayang about Selayang Mall and they say the mall dont have things one. haha. So, on the 2nd of April, I venture down to Selayang with Yuen Si using KTM since Yuen Si is from Selayang and stay nearby Selayang Mall. So I take this opportunity to go to Selayang and see how's Selayang look like. Haha. Somemore I also asked her to bring me around to eat and see see.

So here I am at Italian Cone Pizza Selayang Mall outlet. Kinda small in the inside and with red chairs and tables, just like Secret Recipe. Din take much pictures with my camera phone. Been longing to have a digital camera.

Picture tell it all. Din really look like the menu. haha. The top later is CHEESE. Cant really see the ingredient.

This is the set that I got. 1 cone pizza, 1 mushroom soup and 1 drink.

First time eating should a thing should be difficult, how to start. Haha. Well, think of it as eating an ice cream, without the licking part. Instead of licking it to taste it (ppl will look at you if you lick your cone pizza), you can directly bite it and hold it using your hand. Haha. First bite, all i can taste is the cheese. So, better get rid of the top layer cheese before really can chow down the pizza, taste the inside of the pizza. When you finish eating 80% of it, you will be leave it cheese. CHEESE. so, better eat it while it is still hot.

To me, it taste like mince chicken inside with slices of ham and pineapple and tomato sauce. Maybe I should have ordered the BBQ chicken instead.

Well, all that I can say is that different people have different taste. Not to mention it is good to taste something new. Change your appetite once a while. Hehe.

Monday, as usually a very relaxing day for me

Wednesday, after class, went to leisure mall, watched Pandora Box and Alice in Wonderland follow by Subway Take-Away. I think this is how you spend your Wednesday free time. Not to mention if I have anything that is pink, I could get another free scope of ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Haiz. Sad.

Friday, no class for me, afternoon when to the famous chicken rice/BBQ rice shop, then sing K from 1smt till 6smt. After that, went to Lookout point with Jasmine and her CG01. Nice view from the hill and nice dinner. Enjoy my Ausie BBQ Lamb. Not to mention, my first time to lookout point.

My Date Night

If my memories serve me correctly, I think I have not really been to a proper date night. Haha. Well, for a guy, planning a perfect date night for my girlfriend or future partner really takes times.

For starter, both have to be properly dressed for the right event, not to fancy also. So, I will reach her door step and fetch her on time. Being late is a bad impression for girls. Some small gift or flower will definitely carve a smile on her face for the evening. Upon ordering, always be the gentleman and ask the lady what she would like to order, to show that you care about her and not about yourself only. After she make a decision, help her ordered the things that she like. Some light conversation to ease the environment with some jokes in between. Definitely additional marks will be giving if you are a humour type of person.

After dinner, a stroll in the park to spend the night off, watching some beautiful night scenery and enjoying the serene environment. Besides that, there will always be a backup plan if the 1st plan fail. If by chance that night is raining, a romantic movie will be good. After the night stroll or movie, I will then bring her home and waited outside of her house until she safely entered the house. But before that, I will ask her again if she is interested to go out again with me some other day, like shopping or window shopping.

Well, hopefully I will be able to do all these in the future. Haha.

How about my memorable night?? I think, for me the most memorable night is that we went to the favourite dating place in where the road is kinda not that bright. Then we sit in the car for sometimes, do things some couple will usually do like kissing. Haha. as time goes by, the car windows were getting foggy and foggy and we knew that our body temperature has gone up and was excited. haha. This happened long long time ago and I do learn a lot from it. Thank again to you if you are reading it. I will definitely cherish it.

No Sweat

'No Sweat' or in another word 'Piece of Cake'. Usually these phrases are used to describe situation or job that can be done in a few minutes, to the expert that is. For those expert or experience person, doing things that are familiar to them really is 'no sweat'. For example, if a girl is facing a computer problem, she will be very troubled and worried about how to get it fixed. If a girl is experience or expert in computer stuff, then she will be easily handle the situation, really is 'No Sweat'.

Besides that, sweating is a normal human body response to excrete waste from our body besides stool and urine. Not only that, by sweating, the evaporation of water from the surface of our skin will result in feeling cooler. Why is it so?? Why, when water evaporate, energy is needed and thus, the body heat is converted to energy and allowing the water to evaporate. By doing so, some of the body heat will be removed and thus produce a cooling effect. How about smell when sweating?? For those that usually exercise, they dont have the smelly smell on them, normally. For those that seldom exercise, there will be stinking smell due to the present of urea on the surface of the skin. Urea is the compound which create the stinking smell of our urine as well.

What if one do not sweat?? The body heat will constantly being built up, just like a walking 'microwave'. Haha. Our body will end up overheated and overload, leading to unhealthy situation. Boredom

Ever wonder what you will do when you are bored? most of you will say Facebook. but everyday playing facebook is not the life i wanted. Feel kinda bored. Haha.

How about game? I can say that since I have play game for quite a long time already, somemore I not tat interested in game already.

How about movies and dramas? Yes, tat definitely will filled my time. But again, where is life in it. Keep imagine the unreal stuff and expect it will happen in real life? Dream on!!!

How about study? Well, I do admit that I'm lazy, but somehow I really need to start studying. Kinda fun in reading, being able to imagine stuff, use your imagination to your wildest dream can take you. Haha.

I think as a person grew older, they interest will start to shift, at some point in our life. Maybe towards lady, involving flirting, courtship, dating and others. My point of view only lah. Well, what above me?? I myself also not really sure about it. My heart is currently in chaotic state, not knowing who to choose from. *ahem* Just kidding lah. Kinda hard to know is my Miss Right. I wonder how long will I take to find her.

You heard it. Yes, I think. I will definitely going to the event to try my luck. My Favourite Surfing Spot

Different people have different surfing sport according to their daily usage and job description. For those that do not have any internet connection, of cause their favourite surfing spot will be either in the cyber cafe or in public place with internet access or some friends' places. Some people even surf daily in the office during their working hours, looking for vital information as well as to check email and many many more.

For my case, my favourite surfing spot will be in my room. My room is consider my private area where I do most of my daily stuff. In my room, I can go to watch animation, read manga, chatting and even facebook-ing without bother what is going on outside of my room. Not to mention, my bed is just beside the table. So, I can change location from the table to my bedside. Laying on my comfy bed really make my days. Besides, I bet most of the internet user will like to download movies or dramas from the internet. I do so. I think most of you who are lazy to download will use to install some softwares to stream movies, drama online. For my case, I only stream anime as I lazy to download them. Not to mention, whenever you are surfing at your favourite spot, tit bits and drinks will not be far away from you as you will need them to recharge your energy after few hours of surfing non-stop. Besides leisure, I do read news online, search for information and also blogging to fill in my time when I surf the internet.

Based on all the activities that I have done above, stable and reliable internet connection is a must for me. If it lag, I will definitely get frustrated and my mood will be bad until I go to sleep. Somehow, the internet has become a part of me that could not be separated. We can either surf the net using various internet provider such as Streamyx, P1Wimax, Celcom, Digi, Maxis which require a desktop or a laptop or even use our own phone to surf the web.

I think my next favourite surfing spot will be my phone on my bed if I gonna start using my phone to surf the web and I think it will happen in the future.

3G coverage by DIGI

I cant help to notice it but I have received 3G coverage or signal since few days ago. Is 3G much faster compare to normal line?? Since I seldom surf using my handphone and dont know how to use my phone as a modem to connect to the internet, so i dont really know the speed of the 3G. Anyway, good news is that coverage by Digi is really important for us to get connected to everyone, no matter where you are. Downside of it, you need to get a 3G enable phone that you will be able to bring the full potential of the 3G onto our own hand. Lucky for me, both of my Nokia phones have 3G function but meaningless to me when I seldom surf the net using my phone. How about sending sms and video call and calling someone? I think the reception is better than last time, receive sms faster. For video call, I have no idea since I not using that service also. Haha. Speaking of which, I am a Digi supporter as well as Nokia supporter. Go Digi and Nokia. Bring the best of you guys to everyone our there who are using your services.

I Just Love Good Smelling People

Ever imagine the person walking pass you has a weird smell?? How about the sweat smell?? Some say if the guy have sweat smell, then it is call man. But did it occur to you that some of the sweat is smelly while some dont?? I heard it or read it someway that people who dont exercise are having smelly sweat due to excretion of toxic waste through the sweat. Maybe need to think twice about exercising.

Anyway, back to the topic, I do love the good smell of people around me, some using a perfume. For me, I do like to smell perfume but dont like to use cologne. Haha. The perfume smell cannot be too strong as it will make the other person dont really like you because of the smell. Light perfume smell is definitely a YES to me. Some people dont use perfume but they depends on their fragrant shampoo to make themselves good smell. Some people used bag fillet with flower which will bring a natural scent. Really refreshing to smell those nicely scented perfume and fragrant.

Your mood will be enlightened if the next person who walk pass you is having a good fragrant. But the next second, some other people will walk pass you and suddenly you smell a very over-powering smell that you dislike even though it is a perfume. However, to really smell the people, need to be in close proximity then you will be able to do that. For me, I do really like people with good smell. Really refreshing.

Good smelling people also need a good mouth breath. Some person that i talk with are having bad odor in their mouth but you got no choice but to endure all that until he or she finish talking. A good suggestion is that eat peppermint which can freshen your breath or with use a neem spray. How to know if someone is having a bad breath?? Well, you can use both of your hand to cover both your mouth and nose. The simply use your mouth to exhale and use your nose to inhale later. Then you will know if you are having a bad breath. Bad breath people really give a bad impression to me in the sense of speak less to this person. haha. But they are still my friends.

Lastly, just my opinion here, rumor has it that the every girls have their own special smell, only those who are deeply in love can smell that. Haha. Could it be pheromone that is the course to it?? Pheromone will emit some special smell to attract someone to it. But again, to smell it, you need to be in close proximity. Maybe the girls are emitting pheromone without them realising.

Adidas has a series of deodorant which can eliminate bad body smell. Go try them out. It do works.

Siaw Ling Birthday at Tbowl Restaurant

Today is Siaw Ling Birthday. How old is she?? well, it is a secret. To those who knows it, then better keep quiet. Haha. Since the girls wanna try the TBowl concept restaurant, so we ended up here for our dinner cum birthday celebration for the birthday girl.

Here is a little bit about the restaurant:

"The T-Bowl (Toilet Bowl) Restaurant was established on 18th of Dec 2008 at 3rd floor of QueensBay Mall. The restaurant was originated by the founder, Samuel while he was sitting on a toilet bowl one day. All of a sudden he has an idea of eating while sitting in the toilet bowl just as in the movie directed by Anthony Wong a few years ago. Furthermore, he would like to open a special concept restaurant in Penang, hence inspired him to fuse this concept into the food and beverage industries. This restaurant has designed based on the bathroom concept; where the toilet bowl used as seat, basin as dining table, mini toilet bowsls as food bowl. Besides that, this restaurant has 3 cute and meaningful main theme characters call the Tbros (Toilet Brothers) such as the toilet bowl, stool and shower. There are varieties of food here range from Japan, Korean, Western, Hong Kong till oriental style."

We decided to order some of the famous meals in the store as we ourselves being a first timer in this restaurant do not know what to order. Here are some pictures of us with our food. Services was ok and there was a leng cai waiter. Haha.

The TBowl restaurant in Sungei Wang is divided into 2 places, the inside and outside of the restaurant. If you prefer the open area and quiet place, the outside area will be much better as compare with the inner one as the inner out is more crowded and stuffy. Price consider reasonable. Happy Chinese New Year 2010

*Bare with me as this gonna be a long post with words in it*

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. What I had done during Chinese New Year (CNY) 2010???

On 13 of February 2010, I worked in the pharmacy for half day only and then went to a reunion lunch as I were invited by one of my colleague to go to her house and had a reunion lunch with her family. A good experience for me as well as an eye opener on the real harsh life in KL. For dinner, I already tabao McDonalds, Mc Chicken Medium set with Sundae cup. Haha. When i reached home, I decided to watch movie to spend my time left in KL. So, i end up finishing the french fries, sprite and ice cream, leaving the burger for dinner. Start packing after my late dinner. At about 11pm, decided to sleep early coz need to wake up early in the morning to get to the airport. Around 12am, still cant really fall asleep, turn here and there till finally dozed off later coz was tired.

On 14 of Feb 2010, wake up around 3.30am and continue packing my remaining stuffs, morning call Raj to wake him up and fetch me later. and since the time was still early, I decided to bring all my stuffs downstair and turn on the big tv and watch Astro while waiting for Raj to arrive. Haha. Reached Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) KLIA transit at around 5.20am and there was already ppl waiting there. The counter only open at 5.30am and suddenly ppl start to come as the 1st train to leave BTS was at 5.40am. The KLIA transit was really on time. After change to bus at Salak Tinggi KLIA transit station, reached at LCCT at around 6.20am. Checked in and went to McDonalds for breakfast. They also have double sausage McMuffin with eggs. Bought newspaper to read while waiting for my flight.

Unexpected thing happen. Around 8, the ground staff announced that my flight will be delayed and expected to depart on 9.20am, which is an hour late. Well, 1 hour was ok for me. At around 9.30am, we all queue up to enter the plane. At the same time, the next flight bound to Kuching also depart at the same time. Unfortunately for us, our plane was parked right way back at the terminal, at F104 if not mistaken, really at the far end, carrying 5 kg luggage on each side of my shoulder. After boarding, the staffs even checked our boarding pass 1 by 1 to see if there is any mixed up. During the whole process, i try to get a shut eye. So, the plane was at the proper runway and was ready to take off. The roaring of the engine could be heard clearly and off we go. Suddenly, the plane start to to be jerky while trying to gain momentum to lift off. Due to the unexpected incident, the captain decided to go back to the terminal to do a simple troubleshooting to check whether the plane is fit to fly or not. During the whole incident, everyone was very upset, some angry, some scolding here and there, some switching on their phone and called back their hometown to send the bad news to their respective family.

After arriving at the terminal, the captain started the engine and the roaring sound really as it the plane was getting ready to take off, with the break on. After that, the captain announce that due to the technical problem facing earlier and also the engine problem, the captain say tat the plane is currently unfit to fly and need to do some check up. So everyone unboarded the plane and again, carried our heavy luggage and walk for a about 5 mins to reach the terminal building. Since they announced that the expected boarding time will be 11.30 am, so i decided to munch some bread as will arrive late in Kch. The boarding process was slow as usual as thorough check was done to unsure the proper guest board the correct plane. CNY mood was affected as could not reach Kch at 10.05am as planned. In the end, I finally arrived in Kch at about 1.45pm. What an experience for us. The good thing is that the captain was very responsible and follow the proper protocol by heading back to the terminal again and changing plane. If not, who know what will happen in mid air. The bad thing is that the plane is delayed for 3 to 4 hours plus before we really take off and reach Kch. And there went my 1st morning of CNY. Afternoon and night was normal for me, nothing much happen. Waiting for relatives and friends to arrive.

On 15 of Feb 2010, din go out for visiting as father was working and my elder brother has not return from SG. So, in the afternoon, i visited some of my friends before having dinner with family. Consider a proper reunion dinner for 5 of us. Visited some relatives during night time.

On 16 of Feb 2010, out visiting with kuching high friends, visiting each other, friends and also teacher. On 17 of Feb 2010, out visiting again with Kuching High St John friends, visiting each other. When night falls, 'open table' session for a few of us. Lucky night for me. Haha. On 18 of Feb 2010, went visiting with Sedaya A lvl friends, went up till Bau and visit Ms Voon and her family. Haha. On that night, yumcha session and gossiping session with Ms C. Nice night indeed. Long time really din relax and can open up to anyone. On 19 of Feb 2010, went out visiting again to visit friends.Dinner at Top Spot with family and follow by yumcha and gossiping session at The Junk. Since already met with Ms C a day b4, basically what the girls discuss were about the same. Haha. The drink not really nice. Should have ordered vanilla blended instead of the fruit blended.

20 Feb 2010 mark the last day of my stay in Kch for the CNY session. Met with Wei Sheng at the airport and also on the same flight. Not to mention, I also met with Ah Lian which also on the same flight to KL. Again, the flight was delayed for about 15 mins.

Overall, my cny celebration in Kch consider not bad, just tat went out too much already and din really spend time with family.

P/s: This year ang pau not really alot but basically every year was almost the same amount. Haha.

P/s/s: Got an extra ang pau from AirAsia for 'On Time Guarentee' policy and gave me an evoucher for the flight delayed on 14 of Feb.

February Update

Here is an update from me.

I have moved to a new room since 31^st of January 2010 due to the fact that the current owner wanna take back the house and use it for his own family. The last date for us to move is by March. But how come end of January move out when the dateline is by March?? Well, If I move by end of February, it will be very rush for me since I just got back from Kuching for Chinese New Year Holiday. So, I decided to move out as soon as possible and settle down. After settle down, I no need to bother bout finding a new place to move or new room or move to where. The rental of my current room is same with my old one, just that it is much bigger in the sense of this one is wider while my older one is longer and it does not come with an air cond. Not to mention, when I see outside, there is a lot of greenery. However, when the sun is up, it is too bright for me and I close the curtain instead. Haha.

Since beginning of January, I resumed my work as assistant pharmacist at Bettercare Pharmacy. The position is glamour but basically I do mostly everything in the store, or in another word, cheap labour. Haha. However, the salary consider high among the paid for part-timer. Besides, starting January, I also started to attend classes since the new semester has commenced. I have class on Tuesday (11-12.30pm), Wednesday (9.30-11am) and Thursday (8-9.30am). Haha. I only got classes on 3 days and each day only 1.30 hour. Luckily I no need to walk uphill anymore and my current room is consider strategic. Just need to walk for bout 10 minutes already reached uni while walk less than 10 minutes already reach Bettercare.

This year is a good year as Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day fall on the same day, the 14^th of February. Chinese New Year is an important festival as can celebrate with family and relatives as well as to get together with many friends that seldom contact. How about V day?? Well, V day is from western country and brought into here. So, V day is not really important for me since I’m still single. Haha. This time, I am going back to Kuching on the 14^th of February, Chu 1. WHY?? Well, at 1^st I thought that the flight is cheaper compare with Friday or Saturday. Then since my flight is the earliest and I reach Kuching at 10am, consider not tat late. The flight ticked I booked in June last year. However, after sometimes, I kinda miss home already after my last trip back to Kuching in December and also kinda regretted to go back to Kuching so late plus will miss the reunion dinner even though we only have the reunion dinner among my family members. Hopefully the Year of Tiger will be a good and happening year for me and give me many luck.

Lets wait for the arrival of the Year of Tiger in a few more days time.

My Dream in the Year of the Tiger

Today is the second day of February and i know its kinda late for me to state my dream for this year. However, thanks to Nuffnang and Tiger Beer in organising the Tiger Run, I have the opportunity to share my dreams with my dear reader.

First of all, I would wish that I will excel in my studies and survive another 1 and a half year as that is the time for me to complete my studies in UCSI and become a degree holder in pharmacy. However, this could just be a dream as effort and sacrifice are needed to accomplish this dream.

Secondly, I would like to have a nice DSLR camera like most of the bloggers and my friends. I think I would like to have the Canon EOS 500D Kit I. Not having a good camera by my side whenever I attend any event or outing really is troublesome. Relying on my Nokia N73 for taking pictures really crack up my nerves as it really takes time to take the picture, not to say lousy night mode picture. Haha. Besides, I also will not have the wait painfully to get the pictures taken by my friends. But WHY Canon EOS 500D?? Well, it is because Canon camera is user-friendly and I try using a Canon DSLR to take pictures. It really easy to use and navigate compare with the other brands. With astounding 15.1 mega-pixel and full HD function, my pictures and video will be super clear and pretty. Well, by having a camera by my side, I also can improve my photography skill and learn to capture the pretty scenes.

Thirdly, I did mention that I really wish to have a new phone as my current N73 has served me for 3 years already. You can read about it at my previous post. When I first knew about Nokia N900, I was stuck with it for quite sometimes already. How come dont wan Sony Errisons phone or Samsung phone? Well, I kinda used with a nokia phone, not to mention a smartphone with touch screen capability. I bet I can easily get the hang of it and easily navigate my ways around the phone. Having a GPS really is a day saver. I will not easily get lost around the city and can be the map for my friends. With Wifi ready, I also can surt the net on the go. It really is like having a mini computer on my palm. But a phone is like mini computer?? To be considered as a computer, it has to have a processor and its operating system. For you information, Nokia N900 is equipped with 600 MHz processor and having Maemo 5 as its operating system. It really is like having a mini computer on your palm. Even the netbook could not put inside your pocket. Haha.

Fourthly, I would like to have a nice vacation to Singapore. My last trip to Singapore was a nice one. What's more now that the Resort World Sentosa has opened, it will be definitely crowded with 'people mountain people sea'. Haha. Besides, having to visit the Singapore Zoo as well as Bird Park. Not to forget, I also hope that I can visit some one the nice places in Singapore and try their nice and tasty food. Yum Yum. When I'm at Singapore, I do hope that I can meet someone there who I dearly miss, din see each other for almost 4 years already. Really miss you, Ms C.

Last but not least, I do hope that the year 2010 will be a fine and health year, a very happening year for me. Lets fill this world with many many loves since Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Have a nice day everyone.

Tooth Fairy Premier Screening

Went to 1 Utama just now with Joshua. It was last minute to invite him and also got my invitation back to Setapak, Thanks to Jackie. Haha. Imagine using the KTM from Bandar Tasik Selatan to KL Sentral, then wait for bus and sit for 1 hour plus to reach 1 Utama. Not to mention, during that time is rush hour/peak hour, there were traffic jam every where. Haha. Imagine sitting in the bus for 1 and a half hour just to reach the destination. 1 Utama really is a far far place from Cheras, Taman Connaught. I would be really nice if I have a car to use and go where ever I wan to. Haha. But, that will remain as a dream. Haha.

Me and Joshua reach there about 7.30pm and headed straight to the Old Town for our dinner. Due to the Old Town Citizen card, we can enjoy a 50% discount off the second meal we ordered, being noodle or rice type of meal. While eating, I saw the collecting ticket counter already set up and people were started to queue up. So, I just went to the queue and collect my tickets from the nice lady there. Haha. The same lady that I saw during the Astro B.yond launch party. Haha.

Being early, we can observe around. However, we did not recognise much of the blogger who attend the premier screening. Haha. But get to meet some people in person. Good experience. Well, this is my 1st movie screening which I won and attended. Nice experience by attending a movie premier. After watching the movie, all I can say it was funny movie and suitable for family. I really make you realised what you have miss during your childhood. The power of imagination and dream. Most importantly is that do not be a dream killer, that is by destroying all the dream of young and innocent children. Do not poison their mind since they are still a kid and they brain can say is like a piece of blank paper. Haha.

Here is the synopsis of Tooth Fairy:

Dwayne Johnson is “The Tooth Fairy,” also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s dreams, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

A murderer is on the loose

On 13 of January 2010, me and a couple of my friends got ourselves invitation to the Astro B.yond Blogger Night at Modesto's Sri Hartamas. As the name say it all, it was a launching of its Astro B.yond which was organised by Astro. We were lucky as Astro is the first broadcast company to offer the first High Defination (HD) programmes in Malaysia and also not to mention the first HD television commercial of Astro B.yond which was also the longest in Malaysia history, approximately 2.30 minutes.

Since we are so eager to be there in time and also to expect some traffic on the way, we departed from my house around 6pm and we actually arrived there at about 6.45 pm including some jam on the way there. It was really unexpected as I thought it was very far away from Cheras. I think i will be a new destination for me to look and explore if I by some chance have car to use in KL. hehe.

Anyway, back to the event, since we arrive earlier than the Nuffnang (NN) staffs who had the list of guests, we could not register and enter into the event. The location of the event is at the Rain Club, just beside Modesto's and run by Modesto's itself. So, some pictures were taken to mark our attendance and present on the event itself. The receptionist told us to come back again around 7.30pm. So, we all headed to the opposite mamak stall to have some drink before present ourselves to the counter again.

By 7.30pm, when we reach the counter again, there were a couple of guests already register for the event and already secured the best seats in the place. For me, it was a bad experience as the staff could not find my name at first and say I din not confirm my attendances. I think it was some hearing mistake by them. "Vun" become "voon" then become 'Boon'. Haha. Really sweat at tat time. Not tat i can hear or tell them my spelling, maybe it was the loud music played during that time. Somemore, the receptionist was also a new NN staff. Who is he/she, i will reveal later.

So, each of us have the option to write our new year resolution on the big piece of cardboard. For my new year resolution, I do hope that this year will be a very happening year for me since last year consider not a very happening one. I think I should join more of the NN event and contest if have the opportunity.

So, after writting our new year resolution, we enter the club. Since some of the best seat were already taken, we decided to take the seat at the bar, which was consider the better seat. Being near to the drink really make is happier. Haha. While waiting for the event to start, Chie Chek (CC), Wan Nah and Kwong Fei (KF) walk around the location and keep on taking pictures. For me, I was just observing the environment. Haha. Maybe I not that social yet. Modesto's pizza was served before the event was start. I get to try 3 type of pizza, which were pepperoni pizza, tuna pizza and the last one i cant remember.

Around 8pm, the event finally start with the MC giving out some nice speech. And to me, he really look familiar. If not mistaken, I think i saw him before in the TV, in the 'Deal or no deal', english one. Correct me if I'm wrong. After his speech, the COO of Astro gave his speech and announce the start of the event.

A very happy food for me as 'Dinner was served'. Haha. Hungry people like us sure will rush to the buffet location to grab all the nice food. Luckily for this time, there were 2 buffet location to ease the congestion. As CC and KF queue at one place to grab the dinner, I slowly approach another side of the buffet table to grab my food. There were Vietnam spring roll, Seasoned brinjal as appetizer. For the main meal, we have the option to choose between chilli pasta or seafood macaroni, followed by duck, roasted chicken, mushroom, mash potato and also sausages. For dessert, we have cheese cake and also chocolate cake. Dinner was good.

During dinner time, there was a group of percussion playing some loud sound. Really an eye opener for me to listen all those loud sound. Haha. For me, sorry to say this but I dont understand at all. Maybe for those music lover, they will love it. After their finish their performance, dinner resume.

Later, Huai Bin come towards the stage and told us that there will be a game session where there will be a lucky person tonight walking away with a brand new 32" LG HDTV, a satellite disc, a decoder, a special remote control and also free subscription until end of this year. We all were waiting for this moment to come. Who ever were interested have to group themselves into 5 person in each group and registered themselves with Robb. Luckily for us, there were five of us and easily, we proceed to the registration place to registered ourselves. After the registration process, each of the group were given a piece of paper, a pen and also a magnifying glass to look for clue. As you have seen earlier, there were a murder scene right beside the stage. So, for us, it was our job as a team of investigator to find out who was the real murder among the NN staffs present on the event itself.

As the surrounding was dark, it was really hard for us to look at the small fine letter on the clues stick around the wall on the clubhouse, except the washroom. Those that guess the wrong answer will be disqualified and those without the 5 clues cannot guess the murderer. So, the murderer was still on the loose. BEWARE. After like 20 to 30 minutes after the start of the event, a group of detective manage to catch the RED murderer from the crowd and got themselves a chance to win themselves the grand prize. For us, we just stand beside and watch them compete against themselves by answering question giving by Robb and the one with the most answer will win the competition. The winner group was Gareth, Horng, KY, Terence and Eric. After a few series of questions, Eric finally emerged as the winner and win himself the grand prize. While the remaining group members get themselves a goodies bag which I do not know what is inside of it.

Since the night is still young, everyone mingled around and take group pictures and also dance with the music. Not to mention that during the event itself, Jojo Struys was around, filming for the Alpha Blogger season 2. Lucky for me, she was standing right besides me when the event was started. But bad luck also since I do not have camera with me. So no picture was taken with her. Haha. Maybe should get myself a nice camera but really need some money to invest in it.

After the event was over, we were invited by Sam to go for a 'mamak' session. However, we declined because I have class on the next day, 8am class. Haha.

More affordable way to pursue a medical degree

PETALING JAYA: There is now a new and affordable avenue for Malaysians to study medicine locally.

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman’s (Utar) new Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will hold its first intake in May, at a cost of about RM50,000 a year, a fraction of what parents would have to pay for medical courses in other local private universities.

The Higher Education Ministry has just approved the faculty’s Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme and the faculty will accept an initial 50 students this year.

Housed at the varsity’s Sg Long campus in Selangor, the MBBS programme will cost RM50,000 per annum and around RM250,000 for the entire five-year course.

A memorandum of agreement was also signed with the Health Ministry Friday, formalising the placement of Utar medical and health sciences students at government hospitals.

With the MoA, Utar students will undergo their practicum, industrial training or clinical studies at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Ampang Hospital, Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor Baru and Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.

Commending Utar for its initiative, Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said that his ministry was excited to accept Utar into its pool of collaborating universities.

There are currently 25 universities training doctors in Malaysia. Ten of them are public universities while private universities and university colleges make up the other 15.

“This is a historical event for Utar,” said Liow in a press conference after the MoA signing ceremony.

“Based on Utar’s track record in producing quality graduates and commitment in promoting lifelong learning, I have no doubt that the university will attain the same level of excellence in its new venture.”

Describing the MoA signing as a win-win partnership which ultimately benefited Malaysian citizens, Liow added that his ministry was committed to supporting Utar in training its medical students.

Established on Nov 16, last year, Utar’s faculty of medicine and health sciences also plans to offer three more degree programmes in Nursing, Physiotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The application process for Utar’s MBBS course is open until the end of March and selected applicants will be interviewed in early April.

For me, I think that it will be a challenge for a university to start such a professional course. whats more it is medicine. With such a low price for Medicine programme, it will sure has an impact towards the education industry. Hopefully it will produce ethical and professional doctors in the future besides earning money.
